Drying in less than half the time

The MC5200 Schools DehumidifiersMore than 7 inches of rainfall in 36 hours led to a sewer back up and exterior rainwater infiltration at the Women’s Super Fitness facility in Milwaukee, WI. Due to limited ventilation access, Howard Wolf of the HW3 Group initially estimated 5 to 6 days to dry out the building. However, the Dryvex™ MC5200 dried the structure in roughly 2.5 days.

Wolf knew he needed to act fast to prevent mold growth and moisture damage to the flooring, walls and related structures of the 10,000 square foot facility. After removing the visible, contaminated water from the lower level, HW 3 Group removed the baseboard trim and cleaned the area to prep it for the drying process. The crews placed the MC5200 unit and ductwork at the entrance to the building, running dry, heated air to the floor, while pumping out the moisture-laden vapor from the upper level.

The application was a complete success. Watch the video below to learn more about Wolf’s experience with the MC5200 and how quickly the unit pays for itself.
